South Uist Hotels are few and far between but we are sure that you will find the hotel accommodation listed below is of superb quality. As with virtually all other Hebrides accommodation hotels on the Isle of South Uist feature excellent hospitality. You will often find that three star hotels are nearer 4 star hotels and that 4 star hotels are of the higher standards often associated with 5 star hotels. The South Uist hotel listed below is rated at four stars but you will be hard pushed to find a five star hotel, guest house or bed & breakfast in the whole of the Hebrides, so four star is as good as it gets.

South Uist is a beautiful island (as you can see from the photograph to the left) which features breathtaking countryside and some of the finest beaches in Scotland (and many say the best in Europe). For beauty alone all of the beaches of the Hebrides hold something special but the fact that you often find yourselves alone on such incredible beaches is astounding and quite a unique experience. Talking about uniqueness I must mention that much of the flora and fauna you will see is unique to the island and even machair, though plentiful, is a rare and unusual type of highly fertile land found only in this part of the world and some parts of Ireland.
